Have you ever heard the saying, "A family that plays together, stays together"?
It was a common saying in our household! Well that is just what we have done in
creating pink pearl designs custom jewelry. It began as a way for us, a
mother/daughter team, to fulfill a creative need while spending valuable time
together. The business continues to grow and thrive today because of the fun we
have as we encourage each other to give our creative best in everything we do.
It also gives us an "official" excuse to talk on the phone 10 times a day!
Because we believe that the most important relationships in life are those with
our family, we began this business celebrating just that, with our extensive
collection of Signature Designs-a line of custom family jewelry. Even our name,
pink pearl designs, became a "family affair", as a combination of Grandma
Pearl, a beloved grandmother and great grandmother; and Jennifer's daughter's
current obsession with everything pink! It makes us smile every time we say
it!
Our philosophy is and has always been to create timeless pieces of jewelry, with a little something extra. That little sparkle that makes you feel special every time you wear it! Not every woman wants to be the center of attention (we can't understand why....), but every woman desires to feel beautiful inside! That is what we strive for in every piece we create!

To compliment
our creativity, we make a great business team. Diane has been known
to sell jewelry in the most unlikely places; she never lets an
opportunity pass to turn acquaintances into customers. An avid
conversationalist- she is the main sales force behind pink pearl
designs, sometimes calling in from the line at the grocery store or
from the salon reporting her latest sale.... Jennifer spent 11 years
in sales and marketing with GM, and received an MBA in 2002 with a
focus on technology management. She brings with her the marketing
savvy and extensive customer relationship management
experience!!
We also have two very special
helpers behind the scenes, Jennifer's young daughters Hannah and
Kathryn, our junior beaders in training. Hannah (7) loves to help
and does everything from pricing to packaging; Kathryn (5) delights
us daily with her eclectic designs.
